Temple Kol Ami was chartered by the State of Florida in 1975. It is situated on 13 acres of land in the heart of Plantation and Broward County. Reflecting all age groups, interests, and concerns, the Temple is constantly striving to meet the needs of our entire Temple family. In August 2004, Temple Kol Ami and Temple Emanu-El of Greater Ft. Lauderdale merged to form Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El. By merging the oldest Reform congregation in Broward county and the largest Reform congregation in Broward county, the history and traditions of the Jews of Broward county have been maintained.  Click to learn more about our staff
